Michael H Shanik, MD
Michael H. Shanik, MD, is Managing Partner at Endocrine Associates of Long Island, P.C. in Smithtown, New York. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York. He serves as Education Coordinator in the Division of Endocrinology at NYU Langone Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue, New York; and an Honorary Police Surgeon in the New York Police Department. Dr. Shanik earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York, followed by a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in Lake Success, New York. He is board-certified in internal medicine and in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.

Wenyu Huang, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Division of Endocrinology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Huang specializes in diagnosing and managing rare pituitary and adrenal diseases, including acromegaly and Cushing syndrome. Dr. Huang supervises the Pituitary and Adrenal Clinics at Northwestern University and is the principal investigator on a number of clinical studies on novel treatments for complex pituitary and adrenal diseases. Dr. Huang also serves as the Core Laboratory Director of the Clinical Research Unit at Northwestern University.
